After hosting several show stopping Asian Wedding Shows in some of the most prestigious venues across London, it made perfect sense for The Asiana Bridal Show to step it up a notch in their 14th year and move the show to an even bigger, more luxurious venue – The Lancaster London –  right in the heart of London’s West End. If you missed Asiana Bridal this Sunday, you certainly missed out on a lot, Sweet Hollywood and other leading suppliers  were on hand to talk to thousands upon thousands of excited brides and grooms to be who attended.

The Asiana Bridal Show brings together the leading bridal fashion designers, hair, make-up and mehndi artists, photographers, venues, caterers, décor companies, Djs, florists and a whole lot more. For prospective brides and groom this was the perfect chance to meet the suppliers personally, compare their levels of service and discover new ideas to inspire their dream day. As well as exhibiting at this show, Sweet Hollywood were as usual in Paparazzi mode and caught a few stunning images from one of the most talked about Asian Wedding Shows!

With space at a premium its almost impossible to showcase all your work and capture the thousands of brides and grooms attention who are looking for their dream Asian wedding cake. With our creative flare in mind Sweet Hollywood decided to showcase three top end unique wedding cakes which wowed  and demonstrate our ability to create something unique and bespoke to our clients requirements. As always its important for us to stand out in a crowded market and with our originality and unique style in mind we were certain our luxury wedding cakes would speak for itself. Whilst these were our statement cakes and displays a number of brides and grooms left their details so we could follow up with a consultation and work on their design brief with their own budgets in mind. Furthermore brides and grooms were delighted that these types of luxury cake designs could be created as Eggless Wedding cakes / Egg-free wedding cakes and with other special dietary requirements in mind.

Sweet Hollywood showcased our “Halo” Hanging / Suspended Wedding Cake arch which is one of a kind in the world and a registered design with the Intellectual Property Office. Furthermore the Halo comes complete with our superior grand statement wedding cake which featured dramatic ruffles, sugar detailing and edible 24 carat gold leaf which is what apparently  featured on Kim Kardashians designer wedding cake. As always all   details can be customised to our clients requirements.

Different I want something different is often what we hear when discussing wedding cakes with clients! With that in mind Sweet Hollywood showcased yet another exclusive wedding cake by the name of “Soul Mates”! Although most people think of a soul mate as a perfect  union of bliss, your true spiritual soul mate is the one who is intended to help you complete yourself. You have to push yourself beyond your comfort zone, beyond your limits to find your better self. With above concept in mind Sweet Hollywood created the 50 / 50 split design “Soul Mates” wedding cake with an elaborate floral display which brings both sides of the cake together.

Sweet Hollywood also showcased our Vertigo upside down hanging wedding cake with a complete different look, feel and colour scheme. So what was the question on everyones lips. How do you cut it..lol? Well the Vertigo upside down wedding cake was another ingenious design by Sweet Hollywood and once the secret was revealed to prospective brides and groom they just loved wow factor and concept.

So its always good at shows to put a face to the name as you do not realise how many people are following and supporting you on social media. Renu Kaur Gill and myself Pardeep Gill are the husband and wife duo behind the luxury wedding cake brand Sweet Hollywood! Whist we do scrub up quite well if I do say so myself lol, we are usually covered with icing as we do all the baking, decorating and deliveries ourselves. The wedding industry is a very personal business and we personally meet all our clients and give them the level of product and service they deserve for their special day.
