London based Luxury wedding cake makers Sweet Hollywood were selected to make a stunning wedding cake for clients Krupa & Kru’s Asian wedding reception @ Oakley Court which is located in Windsor.

Oakley Court is a magnificent country house hotel with a cosy collection of bedrooms to indulge the before and after, plenty of spaces to host the ceremony and 33 acres of spectacular grounds to plan a show-stopping Indian wedding reception.

Krupa & Kru’s wedding reception was like no other, it was the perfect mix of beautiful, individual and enchanting. During our wedding cake consultation, we always like to discuss ideas and different options with our clients to offer them the perfect bespoke cake and add to the whole cake cutting experience.

With Oakley Court’s grounds in mind, our bride and groom decided they wanted a magical outdoor cake cutting ceremony. The magical surrounding with a wealth of character and elegant style were perfect for a sunset cake cutting ceremony. Guests were invited out to the grounds and our bride and groom made their entrance on a boat, followed by cake cutting and dramatic fire show to mark the ceremony.

The dramatic wedding cake featured seven superior sized rustic tiers that had a champagne coloured base tone and a spiral of florals and foliage that complimented the wedding flowers and centrepieces. It’s very important for the wedding cake to match the style and theme of the wedding and Sweet Hollywood go the extra mile to focus on the detail.

Furthermore, to add to the presentation of the grand Asian wedding cake we created an oversized floral and foliage base that cascaded off our gold custom pedestal cake table.

With our client’s vegetarian dietary requirements in mind we created an eggless cake which is sometimes referred to as an Asian wedding cake or Indian wedding cake. The cake flavour was luscious lemon and was enjoyed by our clients and guests alike.
