Our clients Raj & Shermila wanted something spectacular for their breathtaking South Indian wedding reception. Raj had his heart set on a hanging wedding cake and knew that we were the company that could deliver on their vision. With the clients requirements in mind we wanted to create one of our biggest wedding cakes to date and size that is sometimes only seen in overseas luxury weddings like the states and Dubai.

The Grand Room @ Grosvenour House is one of the biggest wedding reception rooms in the whole of Europe and we knew that the venue could handle an equally grand wedding cake.

Whilst size was important we did not want to loose out on the detailing. Different sized tiers were use to add depth to the tall wedding cake. Furthermore the unique wedding cake featured a stunning statement tier with the clients wedding date in roman numerals, shimmering gold sequence tiers, pearl and beautiful contrasting sugar detailing and a few individually placed handmade flowers to soften up the whole presentation.

The Skyfall presentation was displayed on a custom made cake table and The Sweet Hollywood mark was embossed underneath the table to beautifully finish of the whole look. Furthermore the cake table was filled with beautiful fresh flowers, which again really softened the large wedding cake and complimented the colour scheme.

To add to the drama and mystery of Skyfall, the bespoke wedding cake was elevated within a gold frame so no one could see the wedding cake from the balcony of Grosvenor House. Once guests were seated and the bride and groom were ready, the guests were asked to simply focus toward the dance floor.

Our bride and groom were upstanding to a round of applause and then the Skyfall wedding cake slowly came down for the reveal. The room erupted with a great big cheer as the cake made its entrance of it own. With the clients requirements in mind we created a beautiful eggless wedding cake that not only looked superb but also tasted delicious.
