Every great wedding has a theme. This could be dictated by a colour, an era, or even centered on the venue’s own style. A theme makes a wedding more personal, more coordinated and definitely more beautiful! Sweet Hollywood were delighted when one of our first brides of 2015 was  planning a fabulous winter themed wedding and we had some great ideas for luxury bespoke wedding cake to match the theme and London wedding celebrations.

Winter weddings are magical, romantic and we wanted the wedding cake to represent this for our clients Asian wedding  reception @ Riverbank Park Plaza. During our London based wedding cake consultation we went over the clients vision for the wedding cake and built up a picture of the wedding with the clients wedding decor in mind. Asian wedding decor company Jay & I Events were commissioned to create the magic and were incorporating white flowers, dramatic centerpieces,  statement trees and all the glittering touches to enhance the decor.

The Sweet Hollywood winter themed wedding cake featured white crystal detailing which gave the stunning snow effect on the wedding cake, furthermore we added some 3d hologram glitter which just added to the winter magic and really glistened under the soft venue lighting. The winter themed wedding cake also featured statement flowers to match the Jay & I Events decor as well as snowflakes and brooches with a touch of sparkle.  We always like to go that little extra mile for our clients and created a stunning silver twig based stand that elevated the luxury wedding cake and really finished off the overall presentation.

Leading wedding suppliers included decor by Jay & I Events, Asian wedding catering by Madhu’s, videography by London Light House as well as other selected suppliers. Sweet Hollywood captured the above  fabulous images whilst setting up the cake, however the official photography was by the award winning Asian wedding photographer J Dhillon Photography who captured the stunning asian bride and groom cutting their winter themed Asian wedding cake! When it comes to dreaming up your themed wedding cake, outside appearances aren’t everything—what’s on the inside counts, too. Sweet Hollywood have a mouth-watering list of flavours to choose from. Our clients wanted to cater for their guests and selected Raspberry & White Chocolate! Furthermore with the Asian wedding in mind we created an  eggless wedding cake sometimes called Asian wedding cake to meet special dietary requirements.
