Castle wedding venues have got to be the ultimate romantic wedding destinations. Who wouldn’t love being king or queen for the day in grand historic surroundings? There’s something magical about castles and if you’ve always dreamed of being a princess, or just fancy adding a bit of wow factor to your big day, a castle wedding venue is for you!

Sweet Hollywood were recently commissioned to make a stunning grand statement wedding cake for our clients Misha & Tagveer’s fairytale Asian wedding reception @ Eastnor Castle. Eastnor Castle is a dramatic, fairytale castle situated in 5,000 acres of rolling, wooded Herefordshire countryside. This country parkland estate is at the foot of the dramatic Malvern Hills in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is the perfect setting for a romantic country estate, castle wedding venue.

Whilst the mandap wedding ceremony took place within the castle guests later enjoyed drinks and canapé  outside and then made their way to a magnificent marque on the lower grounds, which was perfect for our clients magical Asian wedding reception. The reception was catered and managed by Payals, who have recently been featured on Channel 4’s My big Fat Asian Wedding. Bespoke wedding decor was by Venu Diva, wedding entertainment was provided by the 2013 Brit Asia best DJ winner Sonny Ji Sounds. Offical wedding photography was by the talented Gurvir Johal, however these images were taken by Sweet Hollywood who created a stunning bespoke Asian wedding cake!

Stunning head table decor fit for a King  – glamourous Asian weding reception @ Eastnor Castle

With our clients requirements in mind London based wedding cake specialsts Sweet Hollywood created this stunning statement wedding cake. The wedding cake featured a delicate ruffle crown, pearl detailing, silver foil, and personalised initials. The base tone of the luxury wedding cake was a light silver pearl to compliment the brides outfit along with silver foil detailing to add to that dramatic finish of the unique wedding cake.
